About The Position
Drive a dedicated regional dry van operation hauling battery freight, starting in Yuma, Arizona. Routes serve Arizona, West Texas, Southern California, Utah, Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico. Drivers unload freight at each stop using a liftgate and electric pallet jack. The position pays $28.92 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours per week and weekly home time. Departure days vary based on seniority, schedules, and available loads. A hazmat endorsement must be obtained within 60 days of hire; assistance obtaining the endorsement is available.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years.
- Must be at least 22 years old.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- No SAP drivers.
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions.
- No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years.
- Must meet FMCSA English-language requirements.
- FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse profile required before hiring.
- Must obtain a hazmat endorsement within 60 days of hire.
