CDL-A Dry Van Driver
About The Position
American Trucking Group is hiring a CDL-A driver for regional refrigerated freight lanes operating primarily east of I-35. Drivers earn $1,350–$1,550 per week, with pay for every dispatched mile, both loaded and empty. Freight is 100% no-touch, with a mix of drop-and-hook loads and scheduled live-load appointments. The position offers two days at home every other week and established dispatch planning. Paid company orientation prepares drivers to move into established regional lanes with consistent freight assignments. Drivers are assigned Kenworth T-680 automatic tractors equipped with an APU, 2500-watt inverter, refrigerator, double bunk, Bluetooth capability, and outward-facing cameras only. SmartTruck UT6 aerodynamic reefer trailers are used. Assigned tractors may be parked at home when secure parking is available. The position is based in Wilmington, Delaware (19801).
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Ability to safely operate refrigerated equipment.
- Commitment to DOT compliance and safe driving practices.
Responsibilities
- Operate a tractor-trailer on established regional lanes, primarily east of I-35.
- Haul temperature-controlled refrigerated freight using refrigerated equipment.
- Safely operate assigned equipment and follow DOT compliance and safe-driving practices.
- Handle a mix of drop-and-hook freight and scheduled live-load appointments.
