CDL-A Dry Van Driver
About The Position
Flint Logistics is hiring a CDL-A driver to move mixed dry van and refrigerated freight through established customer operating lanes. Drivers generally average 2,500 to 3,000 miles per week, with no-touch customer freight, organized regional runs, and scheduled dispatches. The role is based in Springfield, Massachusetts, and provides six scheduled days off each month, which drivers may take together or divide throughout the month based on personal preference and freight scheduling. Drivers operate Kenworth T680 tractors that are four years old or newer, assigned based on availability. Equipment includes automatic transmissions, APUs, inverters, voice navigation, and an in-cab fifth-wheel release. Compensation is $1,450 to $1,675 per week based on experience and productivity, with guaranteed minimum pay beginning after 30 days. Orientation is paid at $100 per day, and quarterly performance raises are tied to safety and productivity. Benefits include medical and life insurance, paid vacation, and a passenger policy for riders age 10 and older.
Requirements
- At least six months of tractor-trailer experience within the last year.
- Valid CDL-A license.
- Current DOT medical certification.
