About The Position

Drive dedicated regional routes delivering palletized auto batteries from Atlanta, Georgia, to locations across Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida. The driver handles multi-stop routes and unloads using a liftgate and electric pallet jack. The position averages 2–3 loads per week, with daytime store deliveries and weekly home time. Departures typically occur Sunday or Monday. Drivers are assigned automatic, late-model Freightliner sleeper cabs.

Pay is $28.50 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours. The posting lists average weekly pay of $1,900 and average annual pay of $100,000 or more. Pay is issued weekly. A hazmat endorsement is required within 60 days of hire, and endorsement assistance is available.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years.
• Must be at least 22 years old.
• Obtain a hazmat endorsement within 60 days of hire.
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions.
• No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years.
• FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse profile required before hire.
• Meet federal English-language proficiency requirements.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.
• Ability to safely operate liftgate equipment and electric pallet jacks.
