About The Position

Entry-level CDL-A reefer truck driver position with a paid training program. Drivers train for 4 to 6 weeks at $650 per week, then run solo with a guaranteed $1,000 per week for the first three months. Average weekly pay is $1,200–$1,500, with a monthly bonus for meeting performance goals. Drivers haul refrigerated freight across the Southeast and Midwest, averaging about 2,100 miles per week once solo, with live loading and unloading and no hand unloading. Drivers are home every two weeks. The fleet includes late-model Freightliners averaging around 1.5 years old, with automatic and 10-speed transmissions available. Pets and riders are allowed after training.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Have completed at least 120 hours of CDL school.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing.
• Provide three years of verifiable work history.
• Have no more than two moving violations in the past two years and no serious violations in the past 12 months.
• Have no major preventable accidents in the past five years.
• Have no DUI/DWI within the past five to ten years.
• Military experience is welcome with a DD214.

Nice To Haves

• Previous driving experience: six months in the past year or 12 months in the past five years. No experience is required.
