Drive refrigerated freight on set lanes from Texas to Tennessee, Illinois, and Georgia in a reefer fleet operating out of the Dallas area. Drivers average 1,800 to 2,000 miles per week, with a mix of drop-and-hook and live loads, and are home every two weeks depending on location. New CDL holders complete 4 to 6 weeks of on-the-road training with an experienced driver trainer and earn $850 per week during training. After sign-off, drivers receive their own truck and are guaranteed $1,000 per week for their first three months solo. Average weekly gross pay is $1,300 to $1,500, with a sliding pay scale, $25 stop pay, and a performance bonus plan. Medical, dental, and vision coverage begins after 30 days. Other offerings include a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, $300 orientation pay, and covered travel to orientation. Riders and pets are allowed after training is complete.
