Entry Level CDL-A Reefer Driver - New CDL Graduates Welcome
About The Position
This entry-level refrigerated freight driving position welcomes new CDL graduates and provides 4 to 6 weeks of training. Drivers receive $650 per week during training, followed by a guaranteed $1,000 per week for 3 months after going solo. Average weekly pay is around $1,200 to $1,400, with a monthly bonus for meeting performance goals. Drivers haul refrigerated freight across the Southeast and Midwest, covering about 2,100 miles per week with live loading and unloading. Drivers are home every two weeks. The role uses late-model Freightliner trucks with automatic or 10-speed transmissions. Pets and riders are allowed after training.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Hold a valid Class A CDL.
- Have completed at least 120 hours of CDL training.
- Have no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
- Have no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
- Have no DUI/DWI within the specified 5-to-10-year period.
- Complete hair and urine drug screening.
- Provide 3 years of verifiable work history.
Nice To Haves
- Experienced drivers may qualify with 6 months of recent OTR experience or 12 months of OTR experience in the last 5 years.
- DD214 is considered for military applicants.
Responsibilities
