About The Position

This role is for new CDL graduates and experienced drivers hauling refrigerated freight. New drivers complete 4 to 6 weeks of paid, on-the-road mentor training with an experienced driver. Training pay is $650 per week. After the mentor signs off, drivers receive their own truck and are guaranteed $1,000 per week for their first three months solo. Drivers haul temperature-controlled freight without unloading, covering 1,900 to 2,500 or more miles per week. Most loads are drop and hook, and drivers are home every two weeks. Average weekly gross pay is $1,300 to $1,500, with mileage pay that increases with experience and a performance bonus plan. The employer provides health, dental, and vision insurance after 30 days, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and $300 orientation pay with travel to orientation covered.

Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• At least 21 years old.
• New drivers must have 120 or more hours at an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced drivers must have 6 months of OTR experience in the last 12 months, or 12 or more months in the last 5 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years.
• No major preventable accidents in 5 years.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Haul refrigerated, temperature-controlled freight.
• Complete mentor-guided, on-the-road training for 4 to 6 weeks if a new driver.
• Drive approximately 1,900 to 2,500 or more miles per week.
• Handle mostly drop-and-hook loads.
