About The Position
Join a dedicated local intermodal operation in Lebanon, Tennessee. The role involves hauling containers on chassis and handling multiple container connections per day. Freight and work may include drop-and-hook, live-load, live-unload, and preloaded containers. Drivers must safely handle intermodal equipment and follow rail-yard procedures. The position offers $25 per hour, average weekly pay of $1,300, and daily home time. Day and night shifts are available. The schedule may include holiday work when a holiday falls on the assigned workday.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
- Experienced, first-seat driver.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- No SAP drivers.
- Ability to safely operate intermodal equipment and chassis.
- Flexibility for traffic, weather, and operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Haul intermodal containers on chassis.
- Handle multiple container connections per day.
