About The Position

Drive dedicated local intermodal freight from Hutchins/Wilmer, Texas, on routes within a 250-mile radius. The work is primarily drop-and-hook, with some live loads and live unloads, and freight is preloaded. Drivers operate intermodal containers on chassis using slip-seat day cabs. The position pays $1,000–$1,100 per week, including $0.55 per mile, $29 per load, and additional applicable pay of $20. Drivers are home daily and work a Tuesday–Saturday night schedule. Additional work may be available as needed, and schedules may vary due to traffic and weather.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Experienced, first-seat driver.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.
• Comfortable working night shifts and Saturdays.
• Able to operate safely in varying traffic and weather conditions.

Responsibilities
