About The Position

Rouse Trucking is hiring experienced CDL-A flatbed drivers for regional routes. This position offers steady work hauling building materials, pipe, coils, and similar freight, primarily east of I-35. Drivers will be paid for both loaded and empty miles. The role requires hands-on flatbed experience, including tarping (on approximately 3 out of 5 loads) and load securement. Drivers can expect to earn between $1,700 to $1,800 per week and will be home every 7–14 days for a 34–48 hour reset. Assigned equipment includes 2020-2025 Peterbilt tractors and 2024 48-foot spread-axle flatbed trailers. Transition pay is provided during the initial weeks. Rider and pet options are available.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license
• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years
• Minimum of 6 months of flatbed experience
• Tarping and load securement experience

Responsibilities

• Haul building materials, pipe, coils, and similar freight.
• Tarping loads on approximately 3 out of 5 loads.
• Perform load securement.
• Operate assigned Peterbilt tractors and flatbed trailers.
