About The Position

Rouse Trucking is hiring experienced CDL-A flatbed drivers to haul coils, pipe, building materials, and similar freight. The primary operating area is generally east of I-35. Drivers are paid for loaded and empty miles and can expect to earn between $1,700 to $1,800 per week. Home time is provided every 7–14 days with a 34–48 hour reset. Drivers will be assigned late-model Peterbilt tractors and 2024 flatbed trailers. This position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for solo drivers. Drivers may take their assigned truck home if they have a safe place to park it. Transition pay is provided during the first few weeks to help drivers acclimate to routes, scheduling, and dispatch operations. Rider and pet options are available.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license.
• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years.
• Minimum of 6 months of flatbed experience.
• Tarping and load securement experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul coils, pipe, building materials, and similar flatbed freight.
• Perform tarping on approximately 3 out of 5 loads.
• Ensure load securement as part of regular work.
• Maintain scheduled home time every 7–14 days with a 34–48 hour reset.
• Operate assigned 2020 through 2025 Peterbilt tractors.
• Utilize 2024 48-foot spread-axle flatbed trailers.
• Take assigned truck home with a safe place to park it.
