Drive dry-van freight on routes east of Denver, avoiding the Northeast. The work includes drop-and-hook loads and live loads, with opportunities to drive up to 2,900 miles per week. Home time is every two weeks. Some loads travel north during winter; drivers learn to handle snow and ice with a mentor first. New drivers receive paid training at $650 per week for 4 to 6 weeks with a mentor. Orientation lasts two days or less, pays $300, and lodging is covered. Once driving solo, drivers receive a $1,000 weekly guarantee for the first three months; average weekly pay is $1,200 to $1,800, with $15 stop pay. Benefits begin after 30 days. Pets and riders are permitted after training.
