About The Position

This regional CDL-A truck driver position offers opportunities for drivers in Kissimmee and Orlando to transport freight up and down the East Coast, with home time every two weeks. The role is suitable for new CDL graduates with at least 120 hours of training from a CDL school. Loads primarily run the eastern seaboard and do not extend far west. The job involves a mix of drop and hook, live loads, and preloads.

Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• Must be 21 or older.
• New drivers need at least 120 hours from a CDL school.
• Alternatively, 6 months of recent experience.
• Acceptable driving record: up to 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years.
• Must pass a DOT physical.
• Must pass a hair and urine drug test.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with backing maneuvers.
• Familiarity with logging, fuel stops, and route planning.

Responsibilities

• Transport regional freight up and down the East Coast.
• Handle a mix of drop and hook, live loads, and preloads.
• Operate a truck with a fleet average age of 1.5 years, with options for 10-speed and automatic transmissions.
• Practice backing, logging, fuel stops, and route planning with a mentor during the training period.
