About The Position

This entry-level CDL-A driving position serves Hardin County and nearby areas, including Elizabethtown, Radcliff, Vine Grove, Bardstown, and Louisville. Drivers leave Monday and return home Saturday, running only in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and Illinois. The role includes day and night dispatches and a mix of drop-and-hook, preloaded, and some live loads. Weekly mileage is typically 1,500 to 1,800 miles. New drivers receive four to six weeks of mentor training before being assigned their own truck. Orientation lasts no more than two days. The company covers the hotel, reimburses the bus ticket, and provides $300 once hired. Compensation includes average weekly gross pay of $1,000 to $1,400, $850 per week during training, and a $1,000 weekly guarantee for the first three months solo. Starting mileage pay is $0.56 per mile, increasing to $0.59 after six months, with additional load and stop pay.

Requirements

Class A CDL.
Be at least 21 years old.
Have a certificate from a CDL school of at least 120 hours or six months of recent experience.
Have no more than two moving violations in the past two years.
Have no DUI or DWI in the past 10 years.
Pass a DOT physical and hair and urine drug screening.

Military experience may be considered with a DD214.

Responsibilities

Drive assigned loads within Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and Illinois.
