About The Position

West Valley drivers will operate on a set loop from Phoenix to Las Vegas or St. George, then to Southern California, and back. This position is open to new drivers fresh out of CDL school, with comprehensive training provided. The role involves a dedicated driver leader and planner each week, and drivers should be prepared for California traffic as part of the loop.

Requirements

At least 21 years old.
Class A CDL in hand.
Recent CDL school graduate with 120+ hours, or 6 months of recent driving experience.
2 or fewer moving violations in the past 2 years.
No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years.
Must pass a DOT physical, hair test, and urine test.

Responsibilities

Operate on a set loop from Phoenix to Las Vegas or St. George, over to Southern California, and back.
Learn to back up, plan a trip, run logs, and manage fuel with a trainer.
Manage loads that are planned in advance.
Handle drop and hook situations 80 to 90% of the time.
