About The Position

This is a Western Regional driving position based out of Sparks, Nevada, offering good miles and regular home time. The company is willing to hire recent CDL school graduates and provide on-the-job training. Drivers can expect to drive all states west of the Mississippi, with potential for winter weather on mountain passes. The role involves drop and hook, live loads, and preloads. Pets and riders are allowed after the initial training period.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL in hand.
• Recent CDL school graduate with 120+ hours, or 6 months of recent driving experience.
• 2 or fewer moving violations in the past 2 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years.
• Must pass a DOT physical, hair test, and urine test.

Responsibilities

• Drive a late-model truck (average 1.5 years old) with a 10-speed or automatic transmission.
• Complete 4 to 6 weeks of training with a mentor, learning backing, trip planning, log keeping, and fueling.
• Drive in all states west of the Mississippi.
• Perform drop and hook, live load, and preload operations.
• Navigate potential winter weather conditions on mountain passes.
