About The Position

This entry-level CDL-A driving position offers paid training hauling refrigerated freight. Drivers receive $650 per week while riding with a mentor for 4 to 6 weeks, followed by a $1,000 weekly guarantee for the first 3 months driving solo. Orientation is 2 days or less and pays $300. After the guarantee period, the role averages about 2,100 miles per week and average weekly pay of $1,200–$1,500, plus a monthly bonus. Routes carry refrigerated freight across the Southeast and Midwest, with live loading and unloading; drivers remain with the truck while it is being worked. Home time is every two weeks. Dock waits may occur as part of reefer work. North Alabama is within the fleet's hiring area.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid Class A CDL.
• Have completed at least 120 hours of CDL school.
• No prior experience is needed for entry-level applicants.
• Experienced applicants must have 6 months of experience in the last 12 months or 12 months in the last 5 years.
• Military experience may be considered with a DD214.
• Have no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years and no serious violations in 12 months.
• Have no major preventable accidents in 5 years and no DUI/DWI in 5 to 10 years.
• Pass a hair and urine drug test.
• Provide 3 years of verifiable work history.

Responsibilities

• Drive a truck hauling refrigerated freight across the Southeast and Midwest.
• Complete live loads and live unloads, remaining with the truck while it is being worked.
• Participate in mentor-led on-the-job training before driving solo.
