About The Position
Local CDL-A driving opportunity in the Chicagoland area, based near Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The role offers $30 per hour as a 1099 contractor, with average earnings of $1,900 per week. Drivers handle no-touch dry van freight and make local deliveries, traveling 200–400 miles per day. Freight is described as consistent year-round, and drivers are home daily. The schedule is Monday through Saturday. Drivers park their equipment at the terminal and commute to and from work each day. Equipment includes late-model Volvo and Freightliner tractors with automatic transmissions, an APU, inverter, refrigerator, microwave, and tablet.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of CDL-A experience.
- Live within 50 miles of Elk Grove Village, IL 60007.
