About The Position
The Local CDL-A Driver makes dedicated grocery deliveries to Walmart stores from Casa Grande, serving locations within a 225-mile radius. The role averages 8–15 loads per week, with approximately 3–4 stops per load. Freight is mostly no-touch and live-unload. Drivers operate automatic day-cab trucks in a slip-seat operation; trucks cannot be taken home. Drivers commute to the distribution center daily and are home every day. Applicants must be available for any shift and able to work weekends. Pay includes mileage-band pay, stop pay, and detention pay, with weekly pay. The posting advertises an average of $1,256 per week ($65,360 annually), top earnings of $1,534 per week ($79,818 annually), and a $1,000 Holiday Start Bonus. Eight openings are available.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- No SAP drivers.
- Clean driving record.
- DOT Medical card.
- Ability to work weekends.
- Reliable and safety-focused.
Responsibilities
