CDL-A Driver – Up to $2,447/Week + Mileage Bonus
About The Position
Family Dollar is hiring a regional CDL-A Driver based in St. George, Utah, to haul dedicated regional dry van freight. The delivery territory includes Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Drivers are paid by mileage and per load and may earn a Safe & On-Time mileage bonus of up to 3% of mileage pay. Average weekly pay is $1,950, average annualized pay is $101,302, top weekly pay is $2,450, and top annualized pay is $127,295. A $1,000 Holiday Start Bonus is offered. The schedule includes a 6:00 AM start, with shifts lasting up to 14 hours. Drivers are home weekly for a 34-hour reset. Days off vary with freight demand and usually fall on weekdays. Las Vegas-area drivers are out for two weeks at a time, followed by three days at home. Drivers unload trailers using rollers and climb in and out as needed. Equipment includes tandem-axle sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions and 53-foot dry van trailers.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Must not be a SAP driver.
- Ability to safely unload freight using rollers.
- Ability to climb in and out of trailers as required.
