About The Position

American Driver is seeking recent CDL school graduates for our OTR fleet in Lafayette, LA. This position offers a paid training program for the first 4-6 weeks with a dedicated mentor to build skills for safe and efficient solo driving. After training, drivers can expect consistent miles and paychecks, running no-touch dry van freight with approximately 60% drop and hook. Drivers will have a mix of day and night dispatch and will be home every two weeks on a set schedule.

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• Age 21 or older
• Minimum 120 hours of verified instruction from an accredited commercial driving school
• Recent CDL school graduates encouraged to apply
• No serious violations in the past 3 years
• No DUI within 5 years
• Must pass hair follicle and urine drug screening

Responsibilities
