About The Position

American Trucking Group is hiring a full-time CDL-A regional truck driver based in Chicago, Illinois. Drivers earn $1,700 to $1,900 per week and are home weekly. Freight is 100% no-touch, with approximately 50–60% of loads handled through drop-and-hook and the remainder through live unloads; drivers are not responsible for unloading freight. Routes primarily operate east of I-35, though travel throughout the lower 48 states may occasionally be required based on freight demand. Weekly reset timing varies according to freight requirements. Drivers operate late-model automatic tractors averaging approximately 18 months old or newer. Freightliner, Kenworth, and Volvo equipment may be available, depending on availability. Trucks include 1,200–1,500-watt inverters. Drivers may take a truck home where safe parking is available or park at an approved company terminal. The company offers 24/7 dispatch support and pet and passenger programs. Chicago-area orientation is available in Markham, Illinois, with Monday and Wednesday starts. Orientation pays $100 per day for three days; transportation, a single-person hotel room, and meals are provided. Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
Current DOT medical card.
At least 3 months of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience.
Meet company tractor-trailer experience requirements.
Meet applicable driving and safety qualifications.
Able to operate regional routes primarily east of I-35.
