About The Position

A. Duie Pyle is hiring an experienced, motivated, full-time Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver in Gastonia, North Carolina. The driver operates a 53-foot van trailer delivering groceries in North Carolina. Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• No more than three moving violations and/or accidents within the last three years, subject to review.
• Ability to communicate effectively and read, write, and speak English.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries to locations listed on the daily manifest and pick up potential returns as needed.
• Ensure the security and safety of the tractor and freight, and comply with DOT regulations and guidelines.
• Build relationships through excellent communication with customers and account managers.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
