About The Position
A. Duie Pyle is hiring an experienced, motivated, full-time Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver in Hatboro, Pennsylvania. The driver operates a 53-foot van trailer carrying cardboard throughout the tri-state area. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a start time between 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. Compensation is $0.76 per mile plus $17.74 per stop, averaging $1,300 per week, with weekly pay by direct deposit every Friday. Drivers use modern day-cab tractors. A. Duie Pyle is a family-owned and operated company founded in 1924. Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience.
- Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- No more than three moving violations and/or accidents within the last three years, subject to review.
- Ability to communicate effectively and to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Complete deliveries to locations listed on the daily manifest and pick up potential returns as needed.
- Ensure the security and safety of the tractor and freight, and adhere to DOT regulations and guidelines.
- Build relationships through excellent communication with customers and account managers.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
