CDL-A Dedicated Driver – Per-Load Pay + CPM+ $1K BONUS
About The Position
This dedicated semi-local CDL-A driving role is based in Smithfield, North Carolina. Drivers operate within approximately 300 miles of Tar Heel, North Carolina, hauling no-touch freight. The schedule includes 12-hour local shifts and one overnight run per week, with approximately 1,500 miles per week. Drivers are home 3–4 times per week, depending on routes. Evening start times range from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and drivers may choose either a Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday schedule. Night driving and weekend and holiday work are required. On-site office staff and maintenance support are available. Pay includes per-load compensation for runs up to 189 miles, followed by CPM pay, as well as a safe-and-on-time performance bonus. Average weekly pay is $1,170, average annual pay is $61,036, top weekly pay is $1,550, and top annualized pay is $80,426. A $1,000 holiday start bonus is offered.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Reliable personal transportation to work.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Drivers with SAP are not eligible.
Responsibilities
