About The Position

NIS Express is hiring CDL-A drivers in Las Vegas, Nevada, for a dedicated retail fleet. Drivers deliver freight from Phoenix, Arizona, to stores in Arizona, Utah, and Southern California, with home time weekly for a 34-hour reset. Drivers average about three loads per week and receive $250 unload pay per load. Average weekly pay is $1,500; drivers with at least one year of experience average $1,650, and top drivers can earn up to $1,800. Additional compensation includes mileage pay, a weekly safe and on-time bonus of up to 3%, $200 per day for layovers, breakdowns, and training, $25 per backhaul pickup, and $25 for a clean DOT inspection.

Drivers unload full trailers at each store using a roto cart and lift gate. The position involves physical work outdoors in hot and cold weather, as well as completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keeping accurate logs. New drivers attend orientation in Salt Lake City, Utah, and ride with a mentor for their first week, covering about two loads, at $200 per day. The fleet uses top-of-the-line automatic sleeper trucks pulling 53-foot trailers.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Class A CDL from your state of residence.
• Have at least 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Have no more than 2 moving violations and no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Have no DUI/DWI in the past 5 years; SAP drivers are not accepted.
• Pass a DOT physical and hair and urine drug testing.
• Live within 75 miles of Las Vegas, Nevada.
• Have a safe, legal place to park your vehicle.
