About The Position

As a Catering Lead at Flynn Panera, you will connect with customers, support the growing business, and serve local communities. The role offers an opportunity to develop catering and sales skills and prepare for a potential career in catering with Panera. You will process, prepare, and deliver catering orders; help organize employees for large orders; maintain customer relationships and accounts; and work with café teams and the Regional Catering Sales Manager to pursue additional business and increase catering sales. Requirements

High school degree or equivalent.
Excellent organization, customer service, and time management skills.
Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude.
Ability to work under pressure and with a diverse group of people.
Proven track record of success.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Reference checks.
Ability to stand and maintain well-paced mobility for up to ten hours.
Ability to safely lift pots, pans, glassware, boxes, and similar items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to read and write to facilitate communication.
Finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

Process, prepare, and deliver orders to clients.
Help organize a team of employees as needed to execute large catering orders.
Provide excellent customer service, including following up after orders are completed and promptly responding to customer calls and requests.
Manage existing accounts to encourage repeat catering sales.
Work with café teams and the Regional Catering Sales Manager to identify and pursue additional business.
Create a targeted plan to increase catering sales, including strategic planning, cold calling, presentations, and closing sales.
Use Outlook Calendar and other online resources to stay organized, plan, and follow up.
Communicate effectively via email.
