About The Position
Meals Now is a white-glove catering delivery company that works with national brands. Catering Delivery Drivers pick up large orders from premium restaurant partners and deliver and set up food at offices, hospitals, schools, and event venues. Drivers represent Meals Now and its restaurant partners professionally, follow delivery instructions carefully, and take clean setup photos at drop-off. This is an independent-contractor delivery role focused exclusively on catering orders; the posting says drivers do not handle fast food, groceries, or gig stacking. Compensation is per delivery, with additional incentives for on-time streaks, tier level, and photo quality. Payment is made the next day via Gigsafe.
Requirements
- Reliable car, van, or SUV; bikes are not accepted in most markets.
- Catering bag and cart, or willingness to purchase them.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Smartphone with internet/data.
- Availability for weekday morning and lunch shifts; the stated hours are 8:00 AM–11:00 PM EST.
- Professional appearance; gym clothes, hoodies, and slides are not acceptable.
- Comfort with setup and light lifting.
- Dependability, communication skills, and pride in work.
