About The Position
Meals Now is a catering delivery company seeking high-standard delivery partners in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. Drivers pick up large catering orders from premium restaurant partners, deliver and set up food at office buildings, hospitals, schools, and event venues, and represent Meals Now and its restaurant partners professionally. Drivers follow delivery instructions carefully and take clean setup photos at drop-off. This is an independent contractor role focused exclusively on catering deliveries; fast food, grocery deliveries, and gig stacking are excluded. Work is busiest Tuesday through Friday, with weekday morning and lunch availability requested.
Requirements
- Reliable car, van, or SUV; bikes are not suitable for most markets.
- Catering bag and cart, or willingness to purchase them.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Smartphone with internet/data.
- Availability for weekday morning and lunch shifts, 7 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Professional appearance; gym clothes, hoodies, and slides are not acceptable.
- Comfort with setup and light lifting.
- Dependability, communication, and pride in work.
