About The Position

Meals Now is seeking a high-standard independent contractor to deliver catering orders in Gastonia, North Carolina. The company describes its service as white-glove catering delivery for national brands, with drivers representing both Meals Now and its restaurant partners. The role focuses exclusively on catering deliveries, not fast food, grocery delivery, or gig stacking. The driver picks up large catering orders from restaurant partners and delivers and sets up food at destinations such as office buildings, hospitals, schools, and event venues. The position requires careful adherence to delivery instructions, punctual and courteous service, and taking clean setup photos at drop-off. Pay is $18–$50+ per delivery, with weekly pay via Gig safe (Next Day) and additional incentives tied to on-time streaks, tier level, and photo quality.

Requirements

Have a reliable car, van, or SUV; bikes are not suitable for most markets.
Have a catering bag and cart, or be willing to purchase them.
Hold a valid driver’s license and insurance.
Have a smartphone with internet/data access.
Be available for weekday morning and lunch shifts, 7 a.m.–2 p.m.
Maintain a professional appearance; gym clothes, hoodies, and slides are not acceptable.
Be comfortable with setup and light lifting.
Be dependable and communicative, and take pride in the work.
