About The Position

HUNGRY is hiring Catering Delivery Drivers to support catering deliveries and event setups in Austin. Drivers pick up equipment at a hub, collect food from a vendor, transport it to the client site, and complete the designated setup or delivery. The role involves coordinating with the HUNGRY team, communicating effectively to help ensure events run smoothly, and providing professional, customer-oriented service, including answering food-related questions and guiding guests.

The work operates Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. Drivers use their personal vehicles for most events and can choose when and how much they work. Compensation is gig-dependent at $60–$75 per shift, which is described as equivalent to approximately $20–$23 per hour on average.

Requirements

• Use a personal vehicle for most events and have reliable transportation.
• Have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be engaging, energetic, and customer-oriented.
• Have strong communication skills and attention to detail.
