About The Position

The Catering Attendant assists with daily Catering department operations for NBA games, concerts, and internal and external events. Under the supervision of the Catering Supervisor, the attendant delivers and serves food at scheduled functions and ensures events are executed accurately during their shift. Duties include setting up and serving at functions, cleaning during and after events, breaking down setups, leaving areas neat and clean, and returning leftover food and equipment to the Catering department in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Assemble and deliver food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
Log and maintain food temperatures.
Arrange decorations, tables, food, beverages, and service items according to standards.
Serve food and beverages to guests.
Thoroughly clean event locations after functions are completed.
Return food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the Catering department.
Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
Stock, clean, and maintain the Catering department and its equipment.
Provide friendly and courteous service to guests.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
