Catering Attendant (Full-Time, may include weekends)
About The Position
The Catering Attendant supports corporate catering events by preparing, transporting, setting up, and presenting food and event supplies. The role is based in person in Cupertino, California, and requires a flexible schedule that varies with campus events; shifts may include nights and weekends. The manager provides the schedule one week in advance. The position pays $22.50 per hour and includes an $18-per-day meal voucher. Applicants must be at least 25 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and pass a DMV check. A Food Handler’s Certificate and English proficiency are required. Candidates must be able to commute reliably to Cupertino or plan to relocate before starting.
Requirements
- Must be at least 25 years old.

- Able to understand sanitation directions.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to spend extended periods standing.
- Must reliably commute to Cupertino, California, or plan to relocate before starting.
Responsibilities
- Pack and transport goods between kitchens, storage facilities, and event venues.
- Provide a high level of customer service and attention to detail.
- Work with a sense of urgency and meet deadlines.
- Communicate clearly and approachably with coworkers, managers, and customers.
- Read and understand BEOs, packing lists, event details, driving directions, and other information needed to prepare, set up, and execute events.
- Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, and storing products.
- Assist with basic food assembly and presentation.
- Assist with cleaning, stocking, and lifting items in all areas as requested.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of conduct and confidentiality.
- Communicate special requests and dietary restrictions efficiently and consistently.
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested by a supervisor or manager.
