About The Position

Maintain the facility by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other related systems. Troubleshoot system problems, respond to emergencies, maintain equipment and maintenance records, and notify management when major repairs or additions are needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Trade school graduate or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to safely and effectively operate hand and power tools.
• Must be able to read, comprehend, and apply technical material, schematics, and blueprints.
• Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.

Nice To Haves

• Three years of experience in a commercial or industrial setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other related systems.
• Troubleshoot problems with systems and take appropriate corrective action.
• Respond to emergencies such as fires, power outages, and gas or water leaks.
• Maintain equipment using standard preventative maintenance procedures.
• Notify management of the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
• Maintain records of equipment maintenance and repair.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
