About The Position

The Casino Beverage Ambassador provides courteous, efficient beverage service to casino guests while supporting a welcoming and well-maintained casino environment. The role involves greeting guests, answering property-information questions, monitoring guest needs and alcohol intake, and promptly fulfilling service requests in accordance with departmental standards, company policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. The ambassador mixes drinks, uses the point-of-sale system, stays informed about marketing promotions, and assists with promotions and beverage-area maintenance. The position requires teamwork with servers, bartenders, bar backs, supervisors, and other casino personnel, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This role is offered for overnight shifts and may be full-time or part-time. Starting pay is $12.00 per hour plus tips.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Must be able to obtain a Maryland Lottery License.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to guests, customers, and employees.
• Greet customers entering the casino as needed.
• Stay current on marketing promotions and assist with marketing and promotions as needed.
• Promptly and professionally handle guest inquiries, problems, and service requests related to general property information, in compliance with departmental standards, regulations, and internal controls.
• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to casino guests in accordance with company policies, procedures, and standards, using ACSC as needed.
• Continuously monitor guest needs and promptly fulfill requests.
• Maintain the appearance of the casino floor and work area.
• Use the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor guests’ alcohol intake in accordance with training.
• Assist beverage personnel with maintenance, side work, and opening and closing duties.
• Work as a team with servers, bartenders, bar backs, supervisors, and other casino personnel to support efficient operations.
• Follow the policies, procedures, rules, and regulations of Gaming and Leisure Properties, Hollywood Casino Perryville, and the Maryland State Lottery.
• Maintain knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and awareness of new drink trends.
• Mix drinks and deliver them to guests.
• Provide beverage service as part of a team and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
