About The Position

As a Cashier at Meijer, you will provide efficient and effective customer service in the checkout lane, creating positive, lasting customer experiences. You are the last touchpoint customers have before leaving the store, and you will help turn everyday interactions into meaningful moments. You will use Meijer systems to complete transactions, handle payments responsibly, assist customers with questions and concerns, and support other tasks as needed to keep store operations running smoothly.

Requirements

Be 18 years of age or older.
Enjoy working with people and providing great service.
Be comfortable learning and using technology.
Listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized.
Be dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to help.
Be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
