About The Position

The Cashier provides personal guest interactions that build genuine relationships and deliver a brand-aligned experience. The role processes guest orders and payments accurately, bags and carries out orders in accordance with Lowes Foods practices, supports guest flow, maintains a clean work area, and follows cash-control procedures. This is a part-time position.

Requirements

Friendly, outgoing personality.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 15 lbs. constantly.
Ability to read and understand information and direction.
Demonstrated successful use of math skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Effective communication and guest-service skills.
Ability to retrieve and push shopping carts.
Ability to bend and lift to load guest orders into cars.

Responsibilities

Accurately process guest orders to ensure sales are recorded properly.
Handle money and tenders accurately to ensure proper accounting for transactions.
Bag guest orders, place them in carts or hand them to guests, and follow Lowes Foods carryout practices.
Work well with team members to grow community.
Continually maintain a clean work area.
Direct guests into checkout lanes to maintain guest flow and meet the standard of no more than two guests waiting at one lane.
Maintain cash controls and procedures to eliminate shrink.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
