About The Position

Levy is hiring a cashier for Bear Mountain. The cashier inputs guest food and beverage selections, verifies prices and quantities, accepts payments, issues receipts, answers inquiries, and provides information about products, promotions, and menu items. The role also involves responding to complaints and maintaining a clean workspace. Candidates must be at least 18 years old. This is a seasonal position paying $20 per hour, with weekend and holiday work required. The position calls for flexibility to work various shifts and a strong commitment to accurate, courteous customer service.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Previous cash-handling experience.
Fast-paced food preparation experience.

Familiarity with electronic devices such as cash registers and POS systems.

Flexible availability to work various shifts, including required weekends and major holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet guests, direct them, and respond to their questions and needs in a timely manner.
Manage customer transactions using POS systems.
Accurately input purchased items and ensure pricing is correct.
Know the venue's price points.
Resolve customer complaints by guiding guests and providing relevant solutions.
Redeem employee meal tickets and group meal vouchers properly.
Monitor and maintain the MasGen systems.
Assist supervisors with monthly inventory counts at the venue.
Troubleshoot POS problems.
Handle and balance cash.
Keep the venue show-ready, including turning on lights, music, and TVs, cleaning, and lighting fireplaces.
Complete daily closeout procedures, including cleaning drink stations, removing trash, and closing out POS systems.
Work closely with cooks to achieve quality food presentation for guests.
Complete other duties assigned by leadership as requested.
