About The Position

As a Cashier, you provide efficient and effective customer service in the checkout lane, creating positive and memorable experiences for Meijer customers. You are the last touchpoint customers have before leaving the store and help turn everyday interactions into meaningful moments. The position involves learning Meijer programs and promotions, completing transactions using Meijer systems, handling payments responsibly, responding to questions and concerns, and supporting other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly. Part-time, flexible shifts are available; weekends and holidays are required.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Enjoy working with people and providing great service.
Be comfortable learning and using technology.
Listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized.
Be dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to help.
Have the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
