About The Position

As a Cashier at Meijer, you will provide efficient and effective service in the checkout lane, creating positive customer experiences and serving as the last touchpoint customers have before leaving the store. You will learn about Meijer programs and promotions, process transactions accurately, handle payments responsibly, and help customers with questions or concerns. The role also supports other tasks as needed to keep store operations running smoothly. Part-time, flexible shifts are available; weekends and holidays are required.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Enjoy working with people and providing great service.
Be comfortable learning and using technology.
Listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized.
Be dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to help.
Be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
