About The Position

As a Cashier at Angry Chickz, you are the first point of contact for customers and help shape their dining experience. You welcome customers, guide them through the menu, and ensure swift and accurate transactions. The role also involves supporting front-of-house operations, preparing to-go orders, and maintaining a clean, organized front counter.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to handle money accurately and responsibly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends.
• Able to speak clearly, comprehend directions in English, and read English.
• Wear the Angry Chickz uniform and non-slip shoes required by the safety department.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Perform repetitive hand use.

Nice To Haves

• Prior cashier or customer service experience.
• Ability to read and speak Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet customers and provide menu details or promotional information.
• Accurately take orders and communicate special requests or dietary needs to the kitchen team.
• Handle cash and card transactions, account for cash, and balance registers at the end of the shift.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front counter area.
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to support seamless operations and a positive customer experience.
• Bag and wrap to-go orders.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
