About The Position

As a part-time Lowe’s cashier, you help ensure customers leave the store satisfied by providing a quick, friendly, and professional checkout experience and helping them get the best value. Most of your time is spent at the register, but you may also assist other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. The role involves answering customer questions, supporting payments and exchanges, and helping maintain a clean and safe workstation. Regular travel is not required, though occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed. Work may involve indoor and outdoor conditions, varied climates, noise, and moving equipment or objects. Pay is $16.00–$17.95 per hour; the starting rate may vary based on factors such as location, education, training, and experience. Applications are accepted on a continuing basis.

Requirements

• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Ability to minimally lift 10 pounds unassisted or over 15 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state law.
