Cashier Part Time
About The Position
As a part-time Lowe’s cashier, you help ensure customers leave the store satisfied by providing a quick, friendly, and professional checkout experience. You may answer customer questions, assist with payments and exchanges, support customers in self-checkout, and help customers get the best value for their money. Most of your time is spent at the register, though you may also assist other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. The role is suited to someone who enjoys customer service and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. The position may involve working indoors and outdoors in varying weather and temperatures, exposure to noise and moving or shaking objects and equipment, and occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores. The listed pay range is $15.16–$16.20 per hour; starting pay may vary based on factors such as position, location, education, training, and experience.
Requirements
- Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 10 pounds unassisted or over 15 pounds with or without accommodation.
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state law.

Responsibilities
