About The Position

As a Lowe’s cashier, you help ensure every customer has a positive checkout experience. You provide quick, friendly service and help customers get the best value for their money. Most of your time is spent at the register, but you may also assist other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. The role may occasionally require travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores. Working conditions can include indoor and outdoor environments, varied and sometimes extreme weather, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment.

Requirements

• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
• Ability to lift at least 10 pounds unassisted or more than 15 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state law.

Responsibilities
