About The Position

As a Cashier at Meijer, you will provide efficient and effective customer service in the checkout lane, creating positive customer experiences and leaving a lasting impression. You will assist customers with Meijer programs and promotions, process transactions accurately, handle payments responsibly, and help resolve customer questions or concerns. You may also support other tasks as needed to keep store operations running smoothly. The candidate must be at least 18 years old and available to work shifts between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Available to work shifts ranging from 6 a.m. through 6 p.m.
• Enjoy working with people and providing great service.
• Comfortable learning and using technology.
• Able to listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to help.
• Able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

• Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
