Daycare Support Teacher for Mornings and Afternoons
About The Position
Primrose School of Berkeley Heights and Primrose School of New Providence are seeking caring, dependable part-time Support Teachers to join our teams! We have morning and afternoon opportunities for individuals who enjoy working with young children and helping them learn and grow. This role involves supporting classroom teachers with activities, supervision, and daily routines, including assisting with meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, and classroom transitions. The Support Teacher will also provide classroom coverage as needed across different age groups, maintain a safe and nurturing environment, and build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers, while adhering to school policies and health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Experience working with young children (required).
- Reliable, patient, and a strong team player.
- Communicates well and is comfortable helping in different classrooms.
Nice To Haves
- Enjoys working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
