About The Position

As the Cashier at Angry Chickz, you are the first point of contact for customers and play a pivotal role in shaping their dining experience. You provide a warm welcome, guide customers through the menu, and ensure swift and accurate transactions. The role also includes bagging and wrapping to-go orders and helping maintain a clean, organized front counter. Employees are required to wear an Angry Chickz uniform and non-slip shoes required by the safety department.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to handle money accurately and responsibly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends.
• Able to speak clearly and comprehend directions in English, and able to read English.
• Wear the Angry Chickz uniform and non-slip shoes required by the safety department.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Repetitive hand use.

Nice To Haves

• Prior cashier or customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and speak Spanish is extremely helpful but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet customers and provide menu details or promotional information.
• Accurately take orders and communicate special requests or dietary needs to the kitchen team.
• Handle cash and card transactions, account for cash, and ensure registers balance at the end of the shift.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front counter area.
• Collaborate with the FOH team to support seamless operations and a positive customer experience.
• Bag and wrap to-go orders.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
