About The Position

As a part-time Lowe’s cashier, you help ensure customers leave the store satisfied by providing a quick, friendly, and professional checkout experience and helping them get value for their money. Most of the work is at the register, but you may also answer customer questions, assist with payments and exchanges, support other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. The role involves working in a fast-paced retail environment and maintaining a clean, safe workstation. Travel is not regularly required, though occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed. Working conditions can include indoor and outdoor environments, variable and extreme weather, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Ability to minimally lift 10 pounds unassisted or over 15 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state law.
