About The Position

As a Cashier at Meijer, you will provide efficient and effective customer service in the checkout lane, creating positive and memorable experiences for customers. You are the last point of contact customers have before leaving the store, and you will help make everyday interactions meaningful. The position involves completing transactions accurately, handling payments responsibly, assisting customers with questions and concerns, and supporting other operational tasks as needed. Nights and weekends shifts are available.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Enjoy working with people and providing great service.
Be comfortable learning and using technology.
Listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized.
Be dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to help.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Previous cashier experience is a plus.
Previous e-commerce experience is a plus.
Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
